Learn how to prepare Italian food with an Italian “mamma”!
Embark on a culinary journey with our exclusive “Bologna Cooking Class” and “Modena Cooking Class,” an experience tailor-made for food enthusiasts! This 6-hour tour is a blend of cultural immersion and hands-on cooking lessons, perfect for anyone eager to delve into the heart of Italian cuisine.
About the Experience:
Join us for a visit to a local farm where you’ll meet the farmer and immerse yourself in the rustic charm of rural Italy. The highlight of the tour is a 4-hour cooking class held in chef’s home kitchen. Here, a grandmother, a guardian of time-honored culinary secrets, will guide you through the art of traditional pasta making.
The Cooking Class:
Divided into two engaging steps, the class offers an in-depth understanding of making fresh egg dough from scratch.
Step 1: Delve into the historical and cultural significance of Bolognese pasta. Get hands-on experience mixing eggs and flour, kneading the dough, and mastering the rolling pin for the perfect dough consistency.
Step 2: Learn the art of shaping Tagliatelle and Tortelloni, two staples of the region’s culinary heritage.
During the “rest of the dough” break, indulge in a delightful tasting session featuring Lambrusco wine, Parma ham, and aged Parmigiano Reggiano with 20-year-old balsamic vinegar from Modena.

Post cooking, enjoy a hearty lunch with the farmer’s family, celebrating the flavors you’ve just created.
